Electro-Mechanical Prototyping

Electronics and enclosures, engineered together

Nox Print's Electro-Mechanical Prototyping division builds working electronic devices end-to-end: firmware for microcontrollers, sensor integration, custom PCB layout design, and the 3D printed fixtures, housings, and compliant mechanisms that hold them — all engineered together in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Microcontroller Programming and Firmware

We develop firmware for common embedded platforms — Arduino-class AVR, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi — covering device drivers, control loops, communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART, CAN), and wireless connectivity. Code is delivered documented and version-controlled.

Sensor Integration and PCB Layout Design

From selecting the right sensor for your measurement problem to routing a clean, manufacturable printed circuit board, we handle the full electronics chain. PCB layouts are delivered as fabrication-ready Gerber files, with assembly options for prototype quantities.

Fixtures, Housings, and Compliant Mechanisms

Electronics need mechanical homes. We design and 3D print custom enclosures, test fixtures, and compliant mechanisms that snap, flex, and hold — matched to the boards and sensors inside them. Because the mechanical and electrical design happen in the same shop, connectors line up the first time.
